Mesker's
14 Gauge Door has a similar design to our lighter gauge doors. 14 gauge
cold rolled or galvannealed steel doors are available up to 4-0 x 10-0.
The pan and lid are locked together with plugwelds through and are 1
stitch welded the full length of the door. All 14 Gauge Doors are
manufactured seamless for an attractive appearance.
ADVANTAGES
The
14 Gauge Door is an extra heavy duty door that meets or exceeds ANSI
A250.8-2003 Level 4 standards. It is built for openings that
endure a high level of traffic and abuse. The 14 Gauge Door is prime
painted at the factory and ready for hardware and installation when
shipped.
For increased resistance to corrosion, A60
galvannealed door faces are available as an option. The Swingerdoor is
designed for use in commercial, institutional and industrial
applications where economy, quality, reliability and service are
important factors. The Swingerdoor can be equipped with glass lites and
louvers of all sizes. The top channel can be inverted for exterior
applications. The top and bottom channels can be field trimmed.
CLOSER REINFORCEMENT: Every 14 Gauge Door is furnished with a closer reinforcement box.
EXTRA LONG LIFE: Sag resistant due to the extra long 3/16 hinge reinforcement.
YOUR CHOICE OF FOUR CORES: Polystyrene, Honeycomb, Urethane, and Fiberboard.
LOCK REINFORCEMENT:
Can be prepared for Govt. 161 cylindrical locks with a 2 3/4 backset
(ANSI A115.2 lock front), or a Govt. 86 mortise lock with a 2 3/4
backset (ANSI A115.1 lock front). Also available preped for
sectional trim, panic and electric devices.
HEMMED EDGE: The hemmed edge offers an extra smooth transition between faces.
UNIVERSAL HANDING: 14 Gauge Doors fit both right and left hand openings, due to the double hole pattern and reversible filler plate.
